So the day came and went without any hitches (hooray!) we even managed to keep the rain away, (must have been all the sun dances we were doing every day for the last week!)
A fantastic time was had by all, and whilst we haven’t got the final visitor count yet, we know that most people that registered did come along to enjoy what was on offer. We managed to speak to most of the exhibitors on the day and they all fedback to us that the day had been terrific and really good value.
The venue was the wonderful ‘The Warren’ whose staff couldn’t have been more helpful in ensuring the smooth running on the day, we thank you very much. We just loved this picture of The Warren drawn on the day by the very talented Lis Watkins of Line and Wash, who kindly gave us permission to use her sketches of the day;
The day was packed full of business networking and workshops so provided the ideal platform for businesses to meet other like minded business owners and share business tips. The Workshops also proved to be a big hit, with our very own SEO expert Karen on hand to give advice on how to maximise your chances of being found online after all the major changes made by Google in the last few months. All were well attended and a lot of useful information and business tips were delivered to the attendees, again thank you to all of you who gave your time to deliver the workshops and giving away your knowledge.
The best exhibition stand this year was one by the wonderful ladies representing HR2HR, who gave a very warm welcome to all attendees who visited them, perfect angels 🙂
and how about our team? Well the JCK crew were very busy from dawn to dusk, ensuring that all exhibitors and visitors had a good day, and talking to as many people that walked past our stand as we could by tempting them by our delicious cakes (thanks Connexion Cuisine – we couldn’t stop eating them ourselves!!)
We had a fabulous day and really enjoyed the event, already talking about the next one for 2013, should we do another one, do let us know what you think!
Thank you – a well put together event with lots of professional people.
Regards.
Chris P
Thank you Chris for your kind comments, its certainly the people that make the event, and it was fab, what more can we say!
Congratulations on a great event. I know how much work goes on behind the scenes to make it such a success. Why don’t you take the weekend off before planning next year’s Expo?!
🙂 – I think a week off is more likely!, yes it was very tiring but so worth it. We’re glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for organising such an enjoyable event. It really showcased well the enthusiasm of local businesses in Bromley. The Wellers team had a great day, although a few pounds heavier after all the complimentary sweets. Kind regards, Tracy Evans (Wellers Law Group)
Hi Tracey, Glad your team enjoyed themselves, and thank you for your attendance. Yes out team to were wishing they have put on clothes with larger waste bands!!

Thank you for your kind words Peter, we were very lucky the weather held out for us…. don’t care if it rains all weekend now 🙂
Great day – well done everyone. I really enjoyed running the Speed networking for you and look forward to next year!
Thanks Jackie, and thank you for running the speed networking for us, glad you enjoyed it!
Well done to everyone for a brilliant day. A well organised and very well attended event. I can’t think of a single negative apart from the fact that we have to wait a year for the next one!!
Thank you for your kind words Richard, yes don’t think I’ve got the energy to run two of these events a year 🙂
The best networking event I’ve attended locally, thank you. Great to see some friends from The Croft Tea Room in St Mary Cray and to be in those surroundings. Though the police box/tardis in the grounds has shrunk (ask the staff if you don’t believe me).
Good to see you enjoyed the day…. will be asking the staff about the shrinking police box!
